Making your vote count

With an up and coming election in June this year there is an opportunity to vote and let your feelings be known on the future leadership of the UK.

It looks to be a close battle so every vote will count. The politicians know this as they try to appeal to everyone across the UK whether you are a pensioner, unemployed, working family trying to make ends meet or a high flying banker.

Another benefit of being registered to vote is the impact it has on your credit rating, yes, your credit rating. Many people do not know just how important this is.

So, even if you cannot decide which party should win your vote at this election please register to vote for the sake of your credit score.

For those who are not eligible to vote, such as foreign nationals, you can still give your credit score a shot of positive energy by contacting the credit reference agencies. By giving them proof of your residency they can update your credit file with some positive information to support any up and coming credit card, loan or mortgage applications you need to make.
